Organizing Intern

Nia White is a proud Fall 2022 Organizing Intern on the Supermajority Mobilization and Engagement team. In her position, she specializes in voter education to increase engagement and involvement through organizing. a Brooklyn native and one of the youngest leading voices in activism across the country, Nia is the Lead Organizer of Freedom March NYC, a youth led civil rights organization focused on non-violent protest and policy reform throughout the nation. Her work and advocacy  has been recognized on platforms including ABC, CNN, New York Mag, i-D Mag, VH1, and more creating integrated spaces for youth, women and the black community (aka the Majority) to feel seen. She has been called on to engage people on topics that include civic engagement, civil rights, and movement building. Prior to Supermajority, Nia was appointed as New York State Director of Our Black Party, the youngest to hold this position in the country. Currently, Nia is a third year student at Hampton University majoring in political science and minor in communications on the pre law track. Fun fact, her pet dog name rhymes with Nia; it’s Lia!
