Today, we are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Cecile Richards, a cofounder of Supermajority and a tireless champion of reproductive freedom. Cecile’s visionary leadership, commitment to justice, and lifelong dedication to advancing the rights of women will forever inspire us.
As we grieve this monumental loss, we reaffirm our commitment to carrying forth the work Cecile helped begin. Supermajority will continue to build women’s political power to create the world we deserve—one where our lives are safe, our bodies are respected, and where we all have the freedom to make our own decisions for our futures. Her wisdom and her capacity for joy are lessons we will each hold with us tight as we bring the world she worked for even closer to reality.
