Supermajority’s Amanda Brown Lierman on Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Leadership Announcement: “We stand on her shoulders.”

Washington, D.C. – Amanda Brown Lierman, Executive Director of Supermajority, issued the following statement on Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s decision to step down from her Democratic House leadership position in the next Congress:

With her Speaker’s gavel she not only advanced groundbreaking legislation to protect women’s rights, healthcare, and economic opportunity, she created a path for the next generation of progressive leaders to continue to fight for the freedoms of women and marginalized people.
