Supermajority on President Biden stepping down as presidential nominee for 2024

Biden honors wishes of young women voters

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, President Biden shared with the nation that he will not be seeking reelection for President in the 2024 election. Supermajority’s executive director, Taylor Salditch, issued the following statement:

“President Biden and his administration have shown since 2020 that they will make good on their promise to listen to women voters and the demands of the people of this country. Today is no different: In stepping down, Biden is honoring the wishes of young women.

What we deserve now is a nominee that represents the world women and our families deserve, including representation that listens to us, works on our behalf, and looks like us. We’ll be looking for this historic nominee to excite a multiracial movement of women who have the power to change this country for the better, at the ballot box in November and beyond.”
