Supermajority’s Amanda Brown Lierman Urges Women to Vote in the Primaries

Plan to Engage Women Launches Today in Several States Where Women are Suffering

Washington, D.C.  – At the start of a critical primary season, Supermajority Executive Director Amanda Brown Lierman issued the following statement:

“The weather is warming up and primaries are in full swing — between now and September, voters across the country will have the chance to put the very best candidates on the ballot in November.

“There is so much at stake this election season. Women’s rights — from reproductive health care to the freedom to vote — are more than in question, they are under attack. We need elected leaders who will ensure our lives, bodies, work, and families are valued and our government represents us.

“Women are the majority of people in this country. We are a driving force of the economy. We serve on the frontlines. We are the backbone of our families. Women are our country’s greatest hope for change. And in 2022, women are voting. Because when we vote together, we’re unstoppable and we can demand the change we need and deserve.”
