Building a Pennsylvania Where Our Values Rule.
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — On Saturday, May 17, 2025 beginning at 3 p.m. ET, Supermajority will host a community conversation with Conor Lamb and local leaders at New Covenant United Church of Christ in Williamsport, Pa.
This powerful event will bring together Supermajority members, local leaders, and community advocates for a timely conversation about the power of women-led organizing and local leadership in Pennsylvania. Featured speakers include former U.S. Congressman Conor Lamb, Union County Commissioner Stacy Richards, Clinton County Commissioner Angela Harding, and Williamsport Mayor Derek Slaughter.
“We’re gathering in Central Pennsylvania to show that women, and our values, are shaping the future of this state,” said Emily Gale, Supermajority Pennsylvania State Program Manager. “This conversation is meant to energize, inform, and activate our community to take the next step in building a government where the Majority Rules are a lived reality.”
The panel will include discussions focused on Supermajority’s Majority Rules—core values that envision a world where everyone’s safety, dignity, and opportunity are guaranteed. Attendees will also participate in a community Q&A session. After hearing from local organizers, they will leave with next steps, from joining volunteer teams and supporting values-aligned candidates, to hosting organizing events in their communities ahead of the 2025 and 2026 elections.
The event is free and open to the public. The media is encouraged to attend.
